AIM & OBJECTIVES

The objectives as declared in the memorandum of association of RGSS touches upon all types of problems faced by different categories of people at different stages. The main objectives of the organization are;
• To organise different activities for promoting effective community living, social responsibility and citizenship.
• To generate general advancement of the people through service, self-reliance, renounce and education.
• To promote and establish schools, colleges, vocational training centres and centres of excellence for children and youths to bring holistic development of the society.
• To bring a dialogue and action platform for those who seek a fresh direction a wider perspective and a clear objective in development efforts.
• To develop qualities amongst members and to inculcate a positive attitude towards life and societies. • To engage the youths in various nation-building activities.
• To render voluntary services for those who are the victims of the existing social, economic, political and cultural conditions.
• To undertake various programmes like adult literacy, poultry, remedial education, nutrition education, community health programme and income generating programmes for the people.
• To form and strengthen Self Help Groups of women, disables, farmers and other disadvantaged people and initiate empowerment programme for their development.
• To formulate and implement various programmes and projects for socio-economic development of the poor and marginalized.
• To undertake programmes for development of the women, girls and children.
• To organize environment and sanitation programmes in rural areas.
